I am a PNW native that loves hard, smiles so much, and finds peace in music and books! The work days consist of elevating young performers across the country, and some evenings you can find me in the cages, training young ladies how to pitch.

The Do Method began with me five years ago, and this page is devoted to the wonderful coaches who have joined me in helping ladies across the country be the best version of themselves! Keep checking back on this page for new additions to our growing company.

Hello, my name is Brittany Jacobsen but most know me as Coach B! I was born and raised on the West Coast, but currently call the Midwest home. In my free time you can usually find me exploring the cities around me taking in all the experiences they have to offer, as well as any and all adventures that allow for time in the great outdoors with my dog gypsy. But my true passion is all things softball. At the age of 10 I was introduced to the sport and instantly fell in love with everything about the game! From the competitive nature, team comradery, to the lessons it teaches. Throughout this journey I have aquired 12 years of playing experience and 7 years of coaching. Becoming especially keen to the aspects surrounding the training process during catching and peak performance!

Over the years I have continued to grow and refine my knowledge of what it takes to be a truly prosperous athlete in this sport creating a holistic approach to training. It is my goal to help every athlete that engages with me to elevate their game and life physically, mentally, and emotionally. Allowing me to provide the best environment for athletes to learn, fail, succeed, and in return grow! To do so I draw deeply on my own experiences and education. My days as an elite student athlete and coach at all levels introduced me to a wide variety of coaches and mentors each with their own abundance of knowledge. This gave me exposure to different styles, philosophies, and drills giving me a foundation to start. Continuing to build from my formal education receiving a Bachelor's degree based in Psychology with a Minor in Coaching. As well as continued education via courses, seminars, and personal research. All with the singular goal in mind, a better understanding of the role of biomechanics in softball and the psychology behind teaching, learning, and peak performance. This sport and the people within it have influenced my beliefs, values, and have provided me with the life skills that have aided in my past, present, future successes. I am truly blessed to have the ability to pass this along and give back to that community!

“I Coach to                                                            the next generation of young women the necessary life skills through the mechanics of softball.”

– Tracy Kim - Head coach of FURY Fastpitch

"Danielle has done a great job of providing our athletes with tools to deal with stress and anxiety. She helps them keep the sport in perspective which in turn allows them to perform their best on the field. I see them applying what they have learned in our practices and look forward to seeing the same approach during our games.”

- Kris Gallagher - FOUNDER & DIRECTOR CLUTCH BASKETBALL

“Danielle is a dynamic speaker who’s knowledge and passion for the topic was evident throughout her entire presentation. We’re excited about the opportunity for our athletes, coaches, & parents to continue working with Danielle and I would highly recommend her services to any individual or programs that are looking to separate themselves from the competition.”

- softball coach

“For years we have been working on drills to build solid softball fundamentals but haven’t spent much time on the mental side of things... Danielle engages the girls and they learn through being a part of the process rather than just being talked at. Danielle is kind and patient and the girls really respond to her energy."
